Antony and the Johnsons to release Beyonce cover

'Crazy In Love' comes out in August

Antony & The Johnsons are set to release a cover of Beyonce’s ‘Crazy In Love’ as part of a double A-side single.

‘Aeon’/’Crazy in Love’ will be released the US on August 4 on CD and 7” through Secretly Canadian and on August 3 in Europe and the UK on 7” through Rough Trade.

‘Aeon’ is taken from the album ‘The Crying Light’, while the band have performed the Beyonce cover many times as part of their live set.

‘The Crying Light’ is the follow-up to the Mercury Prize-winning ‘I Am a Bird Now’ and was released on January 20

The band is currently on the European leg of their world tour.

i love shityourlegoff, he's the funniest fuckin thing on here. i'm sure even if he did like anthony and the johnsons he'd still have a pop...keep up the good work. however on a more serious note, recently saw the afore mentioned band and shityerleg is factually incorrect. antony's voice was the inverse of thin. measured power and deftness combined; a fucking hurricane of quality.was pleasantly surprised just how good it was actually. wrong, wrong, wrong shitter but keep up the grumblin... its fuckin spot on.
