Aphex Twin to release new album

Aphex Twin is to release his first full album of new material in five years.

‘Chosen Lords’ is out in April, and we be released under the star’s AFX moniker on his label Rephlex.

It’s Aphex Twin’s first album proper since 2001’s ‘Drukqs’. It’s a collection of the tracks that the electronic music icon, real name Richard D James, released as the Analord series of 12” vinyl-only singles under as AFX throughout 2005.

When released last year, the tracks could all be neatly contained in a custom binder, sold direct to fans via the Rephlex website. Each record went on to sell into five-figure quantities.
