Arcade Fire fight back against touts

Extra tickets released for next week's London shows

Arcade Fire have fought back against touts by releasing a batch of limited extra tickets for next week’s sold-out London shows.

As previously reported, the band had pledged they would make more tickets available for the shows nearer the time in a bid to stamp out touting.

Now it has been confirmed that there will be 50 tickets per night, sold on a strictly first come first served basis, and limited to one ticket per person. Tickets will be priced at £16 (payable in cash only).

The tickets will be available from the venue box office at 6pm on show night only. At purchase ticket holders will be given a wristband to wear immediately, in an effort to avoid resale of tickets.

The shows are at:

St John’s Church Smith Square (January 29, 30, 31)
Porchester Hall (February 1, 2)

Arcade Fire’s new album ‘Neon Bible’, is out on March 5. A single, ‘Keep The Car Running’, follows on March 19.

The band return to the UK in March, as part of a European tour. The UK shows are already sold out.
