Canadians pay tribute to British indie band
Arcade Fire paid tribute to British band Clinic by covering one of their songs at their concert in Portland earlier this week.
The Canadian band performed a version of ‘Distortions’, which appeared on Clinic’s 2000 debut album ‘Internal Wrangler’. Arcade Fire’s version has already been posted online and can be seen below.
The gig at the Schnitzer Concert Hall (May 27) was the band’s first date after a short break. The set included a host of songs from Arcade Fire’s two albums ‘Funeral’ and ‘Neon Bible’ as well as the cover.

Arcade Fire return to the UK to play Glastonbury next month – they perform on the Other Stage on Friday, June 22.
