Arcade Fire for Randall’s Island performance

The band finally announce their New York City plans

Arcade Fire have announced details of a special New York show taking place in October.

The Canadians will play Randall’s Island , a small island situated between Queens and Manhattan which has recently resumed rock concert activity.

The gig is one of several newly announced US dates , accompanying the previously announced shows at Red Rocks, the Hollywood Bowl, St Paul, MN, Louisville, KY and Columbus, OH.

LCD Soundsystem will support on all dates, more of which will be announced shortly.

Arcade Fire will make a limited number of tickets available for purchase here prior to tickets going on sale to the general public. The pre-sale date for the Randall’s Island show is July 24.
