Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystem team up for joint release

The two bands will release a split seven-inch single together

Arcade Fire and LCD Soundsystem are to release a split seven-inch single together.

The single will feature LCD Soundsystem’s cover version of ‘No Love Lost’ by Joy Division, while Arcade Fire’s half will see them cover 'Poupee de Cire, Poupee De Son' by Serge Gainsbourg. The band cover the song, a Eurovision Song Contest winner for France Gall in 1965, regularly when they play live.

The single will be available at US gigs the band are playing together as part of a co-headlining tour, which starts next month, and the band's websites.
