Arcade Fire
They'll play in Ohio to support Barack Obama
Several members of Arcade Fire have announced that they will play two free shows in Ohio in support of US presidential candidate Barack Obama.
Frontman Win Butler along with Regine Chassagne, Will Butler and Jeremy Gara will give their first show on Sunday (March 2) at Stuart's Opera House in Nelsonville, Ohio at 7 pm. The show is all ages.
The second show will be held at the Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland on Monday (March 3) at 7pm. It is an over 18 show.
Advance tickets are not available for either show. Those first to arrive will be admitted until the venues reach capacity.
Although Arcade Fire are considered a Canadian band, brothers Win and Will Butler were born and raised in the US, and Chassagne has dual Canadian-US citizenship.
