Arcade Fire have fuelled rumours they are about to release a live DVD by launching a new website showing previously-unreleased live footage of the band - along with a cryptic message.

Fans who log onto the band's homepage today (December 11) are being directed to a page with the words 'Miroir Noir' - French for 'Black Mirror', also the name of the opening song from their 2007 album 'Neon Bible'.

A link then directs fans to, where they can watch a new video clip featuring the band.

Made up of various energetic live clips, the text 'Miroir Noir, Neon Bible Archives, Coming Soon' appears at the end of the video.

Fan site Us Kids Know reports that: "Miroir Noir will feature live footage from the 'Neon Bible' tour, filmed by Vincent Moon and directed by Vincent Morisset. Keep an eye on for details."
