Arcade Fire have been working on their new album with producer Markus Dravs, it has been revealed.
Dravs producer the band's last album, 2007's 'Neon Bible', has been working on the band's third record for around six months.
The collaboration was revealed by Mumford and Sons' Marcus Mumford, after they worked with Dravs on their recent debut album 'Sigh No More'.
"I don't know if I’m allowed to say this but yeah, he’s working on the next Arcade Fire record at the moment," he told BBC 6music. "I'm sure that’s public knowledge, because he’s been there for about six months."
Arcade Fire have been keeping tight-lipped about the album – with Mumford explaining that Dravs has been suitably secretive himself.
"I keep asking Markus how it’s going and he's like, 'Yeah, it’s okay'," he said. "And I'm like, 'What are the songs like?' And he goes, 'Better'."
