Arcade Fire aired material from their upcoming new album 'The Suburbs' at another warm-up show in Paris last night (July 5),

Playing at the Casino De Paris, the group began with two new songs in the form of 'Ready To Start' and 'Modern Man'.

Other new songs aired were 'Empty Room', 'Suburban War', 'We Used To Wait', 'Month Of May' and the title track.

Performing a 16-song set, the band also rolled out a number of favourites, including 'No Cars Go' and 'Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)'.

Leaving the stage after 'Keep The Car Running', they finished with an encore of 'Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)', 'Intervention' and perennial closer 'Wake Up'.

After the show frontman Win Butler told NME that he feels Arcade Fire are "playing the best we ever have".

"It's been cool playing songs the fans haven't heard before," he explained. "It's like boot camp – for the new songs and for us being on the road again. I feel like we are playing the best we ever have."
