Arcade Fire cover Cyndi Lauper and Rolling Stones at surprise Haiti gig

Arcade Fire played a surprise gig in Haiti on Tuesday night (March 29).

The band performed at Hotel Oloffson in the island's capital city Port-Au-Prince, playing a 45-minute set that included four covers.

According to Rolling Stone, the set featured renditions of Creedence Clearwater Revival's 'Who'll Stop The Rain', The Rolling Stones' 'The Last Time', Cyndi Lauper's 'Girls Just Wanna Have Fun', and 'The Tide Is High' by The Paragons, made famous by Blondie.

Arcade Fire have been raising money for Haiti throughout their 2010 and 2011 tours, with over $1 miilion (£660,000) collected so far to help the country's earthquake relief effort.
