Arcade Fire closed Benicassim 2011 tonight (July 17) with a late-night set.

The Canadian band, who headlined their biggest ever UK show last month at London's Hyde Park, played a mixture of hits from all three of their albums 'The Suburbs', 'Neon Bible' and 'Funeral'.

The group played the headline slot at 1.15am, at the festival which sees punters partying until 6am every night.

Arcade Fire played:

'Ready To Start'
'Keep The Car Running'
'Neighborhood #2 (Laika)'
'No Cars Go'
'Haïti'
'Rococo'
'Intervention'
'Crown Of Love'
'Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)'
'The Suburbs'
'The Suburbs (Continued)'
'Month Of May'
'We Used To Wait'
'Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)'
'Rebellion (Lies)'
'Wake Up'
'Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)'

Earlier in the night, The Joy Formidable made their debut at the weekend, playing the likes of 'Whirring' and 'Austere' to the crowd at the FiberFib.com Stage. Leading lady Ritzy Bryan told the fans, "This is our first ever Spanish festival, thank you for being here."

Noah And The Whale played material from all three of their albums 'Peaceful, The World Lays Me Down', 'The First Days Of Spring' and 'Last Night On Earth' to the Maravillas Stage. The band arrived suited and booted in the hot Spanish sunshine to screaming fans and an unusual brass band version of Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' playing over the PA system.

Meanwhile, Portishead, fresh from playing Serbia's Exit Festival and Super Bock Super Rock in Portugal, performed 'Silence', 'Hunter' and 'We Carry On' to warm fans up ready for headliners Arcade Fire.
