Arcade Fire record new track 'Abraham's Daughter' for 'The Hunger Games' soundtrack

Taylor Swift, Kid Cudi and The Decemberists will also feature on the soundtrack to the fantasy epic

Arcade Fire have recorded a brand new song for the soundtrack to the new fantasy film The Hunger Games.

The track, which is titled 'Abraham's Daughter', was recorded last week and is confirmed to feature on the soundtrack along with tracks from Taylor Swift, The Decemberists, Kid Cudi and The Low Anthem.

The film itself will also feature a track titled 'Horn Of Plenty' which has been written and recorded by Arcade Fire's Win Butler and Regine Chassagne.

The Hunger Games is set to be released on March 23 in the UK and stars Winter's Bone actress Jennifer Lawrence, Woody Harrelson and Elizabeth Banks. You can watch the film's trailer by scrolling down to the bottom of the page and clicking.
