Arcade Fire's Will Butler and Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O both received Academy Award nominations for their musical work on Spike Jonze's film. Butler's work on the score to the film has been recognised in the Best Original Score category, while Karen O's 'The Moon Song' is up for Best Original Song.

The 'Her' score features an instrumental version of 'Supersymmetry', a track which appeared on Arcade Fire's UK Number One album, 'Reflektor'.

Her, which stars Joaquin Phoenix in the lead role, tells the story of a man who falls in love with a computer operating system (voiced by Scarlett Johansson) following a difficult break-up with his ex-wife, as played by Rooney Mara. Amy Adams, Olivia Wilde and Chris Pratt will also all feature in the film, which is released in UK cinemas on January 24, 2014.
