Arcade Fire covered Harold Faltermeyer's 'Axel F' – theme from the movie Beverly Hills Cop – at the second of two shows at the Forum in Los Angeles – watch a clip of the performance below.

On Friday night (August 1), the Canadian band played abridged renditions of both 'Been Caught Stealing' by Jane's Addiction and Guns N' Roses' 'Welcome To The Jungle'.

After playing Axel F, frontman Win Butler quipped, "It was actually written about Axl Rose, people don’t often realize that."

Covers of songs by local artists have been a fixture of the band's tour in support of 2013 album 'Reflektor'. They’ve covered tracks by The Smiths, Echo And The Bunnymen and INXS among others.

At the Mountain View Shoreline Amphitheater on Thursday (July 31), a fan proposed to his girlfriend in the front row near the end of ‘Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels)’. Fan shot footage of the moment, including frontman Win Butler talking to the couple, can be seen here.

Arcade Fire covered Creedence Clearwater Revival’s ‘Hey Tonight’ at the same venue the previous night.
