Arcade Fire are set to a feature-length film, titled The Reflektor Tapes, in September.

The project, directed by Kahlil Joseph (who has worked with Flying Lotus and Kendrick Lamar in the past), will follow the band as they write, record and tour in support of latest album 'Reflektor'. The Reflektor Tapes will hit cinemas worldwide on September 24.

The film has been described in a press release as "a unique cinematic experience, meeting at the crossroads of documentary, music, art and personal history".

It will feature the group touring around the world and visiting the Caribbean country of Haiti.

You can watch a trailer video for the film below, as well as a music video for album track 'Porno'.

Meanwhile, Arcade Fire husband-and-wife duo Win Butler and Régine Chassagne are opening a Haitian restaurant in Montreal called Agrikol. Chassagne herself has family from Haiti.

Butler recently told Canada's The Globe And Mail: "[The restaurant is] more of an art project. The idea is that it's a cultural space. The thing that we were really impressed with at Rhum Corner is that it's this space for Haitian and Caribbean culture and it's really cool and contemporary." Butler added that Agrikol will replicate the "cultural warmth" of Haiti.
