Arctic Monkeys have entered the US Billboard album chart at Number Seven with their second LP ’Favourite Worst Nightmare’.

The album fared better than 2006 debut LP ’Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’, which entered at Number 24.

The album sold a total of 44,000 copies in its first week, reports Billboard.

As previously reported, not only did the band score a UK Number One album with 'Favourite Worst Nightmare' but, due to an error, the band notched up 17 tracks in the Top 200 singles chart this week.
