The tabloids get carried away with Alex Turner's joke

Arctic Monkeys’s Alex Turner, Lily Allen, Klaxons member James Righton and Dizzee Rascal claim to have formed a supergroup.

The acts were all partying together at this weekend's (June 22-24) Glastonbury and said they had already recorded some songs together.

“It’s definitely happening. We’re recording an album. It will be out before you know it,” Turner told the Mirror who ran the claim, forgetting the Arctic Monkeys's frontman enjoyment of a good laugh.

At this year's Shockwaves NME Awards, the singer had a lark, joking that Girls Aloud singer Sarah Harding could front Arctic Monkeys third album.
