Arctic Monkeys announce surprise year-end show

It will be their final gig of the year

Arctic Monkeys have announced that they will play their final show of the year on Monday (December 17).

The band will give their surprise year-end performance at the Manchester Apollo.

Tickets go on sale today (December 15) at noon at the Sheffield City Box Office and the Manchester G-Mex Box Office, and will be limited to two per person. No tickets will be available via the phone or internet.

The performance will be filmed by Warp Films for a DVD release next year.

Great. The Arctic Monkeys are doing another show! I think that this show will be a great end of the year for the fans and such an amazing band. Lets face it NME, the Arctic Monkeys are probably one of the best bands around at the moment and i think they should have come higher up in the top albums.

They couldn't have come much higher - second only to Klaxons! But Favourite Worst Nightmare is way better than the Klaxons album.

Going tonight, can't wait! Should be an absolute epic!
