Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs lead BRIT Award nominations

Mika, Take That and Leona Lewis lead the 2008 BRIT Award nominees with four nominations apiece, along with Arctic Monkeys, Kaiser Chiefs, Kate Nash and Mark Ronson, who each received three, it was announced today (January 14).
Klaxons earned two nods for British Breakthrough Act and British Live Act, as did Bat For Lashes who received nominations in the British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act categories.
Former Beatle Paul McCartney is being honoured with the Outstanding Contribution Award for his "incredible career and his outstanding charitable work".
The BRIT Awards are set to be held on February 20 at London's Earls Court, with Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne hosting.
Today's nominations were announced in the UK capital's Camden Roundhouse.
