Arctic Monkeys for summer festival headline slot

Alex Turner and co confirmed for August bash

Arctic Monkeys will headline Norway's Oya Festival in August.

The band, who have been recording new material with Queens Of the Stone Age's Josh Homme, will be joined by the likes of Chairlift, The Bronx and Royksopp on the bill - the latter act also being set to play a headline slot.

The festival is set to take place in a medieval park at Middelalderparken, Oslo, from August 11-15. Famed for its ethical stance and unique setting, Oya has a 70,000 capacity.

Arctic Monkeys
Royksopp
Bon Iver
Satyricon
The Bronx
Chairlift
Crystal Antlers
Monotonix

Over 200 acts will play the festival in total.
