Ex-Arctic Monkeys man gigging with new band
Andy Nicholson gearing up with Joe Carnall And The Book Club
Former Arctic Monkeys bassist Andy Nicholson is playing in a new band – Joe Carnall And The Book Club.
The Sheffield collective, lead by ex-Milburn frontman Carnall, are set to play a gig at the Narrow Minded Social Club event at London's Proud Gallery on Wednesday (August 19).
The club-night is run by The Rifles – see Myspace.com/therifles for more information.
Milburn fans have been sharing Joe Carnall And The Book Club demos at the now-defunct band's website, Milburnmusic.com.
Andy Nicholson left Arctic Monkeys in 2006. He has recently been playing in rap/indie band Mongrel along with fellow Sheffield resident Jon McClure of Reverend And The Makers.
