Arctic Monkeys are set to play a gig at the O2 Academy Brixton in London next Wednesday (August 26).
The show will be the first the Sheffield four-piece have played in the UK since December 2007, and will be the first since the release of third album 'Humbug' – out next Monday (August 24).
Tickets for the one-off gig will be allocated to members of the band's mailing list, who have until midnight (BST) tomorrow (August 19) to register. Successful applicants will be notified the following day (20). Tickets will be limited to two per person.
The gig will come a few days before Alex Turner and co headline the Reading And Leeds Festivals, which take place on August 28-30.
See the new issue of NME, out tomorrow (August 19), for our review of 'Humbug'.
