A mockumentary featuring Arctic Monkeys will be released on October 9.

Called 'Le Donk & Scor-zay-zee' the film is centred around a roadie who is trying to get a white rapper a support slot at an Arctic Monkeys gig.

Directed by Shane Meadows (This Is England, Dead Man’s Shoes) the film stars Paddy Considine who featured in the Arctic Monkeys 2006 video for 'Leave Before The Lights Come On'.

Premiered at the Edinburgh International Film Festival in June and also at this year’s Latitude festival, the film is released on October 9, with a DVD release to follow on October 26.

A trailer for the film can be seen below and a review of the film found on NME’s film blog.
