Arctic Monkeys' frontman Alex Turner has said he's a fan of Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way' cover art.

The album cover, which features the singer's body becoming part of a motorbike, sits in stark contrast to the Arctic Monkeys' extremely basic cover for new album 'Suck It And See'. Even so, the frontman says he likes the idea of it.

Speaking to BBC 6Music, Turner said: "She’s like a motorbike on the front cover of the album isn’t she? Anyone who has that idea is alright with me. Imagine that meeting. Like, 'I’ve got an idea for the front cover. It’s me, but I’m a motorbike'. That’s impressive."

Turner went on to say that he reckoned he'd be a "speedboat or hovercraft" if he had the option, but that Gaga had "got the best one."

The frontman also responded to a question about whether he was worried by proclamations of the death of guitar music, saying he believed it will never go away.

He said: "Just because it [guitar music] doesn't have the presence now doesn't mean it won't do in six months or a year. Rock n'roll is kind of ready when you are."
