Arctic Monkeys play 'Suck It And See' at Benicassim

Primal Scream, Mumfords and Bombay Bicycle Club also perform at Spanish festival

Arctic Monkeys brought their new album 'Suck It And See' to Benicassim tonight (July 16).

The Sheffield indie favourites played the de facto headline slot at the Spanish festival, bringing the big show before Primal Scream's 2.30am gig.

Coming on to Hot Chocolate's 'You Sexy Thing', the kicked off with new album track 'Library Pictures', going on to play a further six songs from the new record.


After powering through former singles 'Brianstorm' and 'Don't Sit Down 'Cause I’ve Moved Your Chair', fontman Alex Turner stripped down to a black vest in the sweltering heat.

Earlier, Mumford and Sons warmed up the stage and fans saw Bombay Bicycle Club preview hotly-tipped new album 'A Different Kind Of Fix' live.

Primal Scream will shortly bring Saturday's live music to a close, once again performing their classic album 'Screamadelica' in its entirety.
