Arctic Monkeys joined by guests as they celebrate 'AM' release at London show Arctic Monkeys Tickets
Special guests Miles Kane and Bill Ryder Jones join the band onstage at London's Roundhouse
The band were supported by Drenge at the gig, which took place as part of this year's iTunes Festival, as they played a host of new tracks alongside fan favourites during a 90-minute set. From 'AM', the band played 'Do I Wanna Know?' (the set opener) as well as 'R U Mine?', 'Arabella', 'Snap Out Of It', 'Fireside', 'One For The Road' and new single 'Why'd You Only Call Me When You're High?'.
Playing their first gig in England since headlining Glastonbury in June, Alex Turner again adopted an Elvis Presley style accent as he introduced songs throughout the night. After playing 'Old Yellow Bricks' and 'Brick By Brick' Turner commented that the band have "so many songs about bricks" while encouraging the audience to shake their hips as well as their arms during 'Pretty Visitors'.
There were two guest stars on the night with Bill Ryder-Jones playing guitar on 'Fireside' and Miles Kane making his way to the stage for '505'. Both cameo appearances coincided with Turner putting down his guitar and playing the lone frontman. Speaking this recently to NME, Turner said: "I'm not really that up for playing guitar at the moment, so I'm trying to get everybody else to do it."
Elsewhere in the set, Arctic Monkeys pulled out their classic hits including 'Fluorescent Adolescent', 'Dancing Shoes' and 'Brianstorm' as well as 2005 Number One hit 'I Bet You Look Good On The Dancefloor'. The main set ended with 'R U Mine?' followed by a two-song encore comprising of 'Suck It and See' and '505'.
