Arctic Monkeys make Official UK Albums Chart history with 'AM'
Meanwhile, Katy Perry's 'Roar' remains top of the Official UK Singles Chart
The band's new album, 'AM', released by Domino Records, is the band's fifth consecutive Number One, making them the first indie-released act to achieve such a feat, reports the Official Charts Company.

The Strypes complete this week's Top Five with their debut album, 'Snapshot', entering in at Number Five.
Elsewhere, The Weeknd scores his highest charting UK album to date with 'Kiss Land' entering in at Number 12, The Clash’s latest best of collection, 'The Clash Hits Back', is at Number 13, while Janelle Monae’s 'The Electric Lady' debuts at Number 14.
In the Official UK Singles Chart, Katy Perry's 'Roar' remains top for a second consecutive week. One Republic's 'Counting Stars' is at Number Two, Ellie Goulding's 'Burn' is at Number Three and 'Wake Me Up' by Avicii is at Number Four. Drake's 'Hold On We're Going Home' completes the Top 5.
