Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder for Mandela birthday

Aretha Franklin will collaborate with Josh Groban at Radio City Music Hall in New York later this month to celebrate the birthday of Nelson Mandela.

Stevie Wonder, T-Pain, Queen Latifah, Wyclef Jean, Dave Stewart, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, Gloria Gaynor and Zucchero will also perform at the event, which will take place on July 18.

Lil’ Kim will collaborate with Cyndi Lauper on the night, while will.i.am will team up with Jesse McCartney. Alicia Keys will perform alongside Angelique Kidjo.

The show, entitled ‘Mandela Day: a 46664 Celebration’ will be the final event in a week of celebrations to honor the former South African President, who turns 91 this month,
