ARTFUL DODGER TO SPLIT?

Unconfirmed reports claim ARTFUL DODGER have split, NME.COM can exclusively reveal.

An unofficial source tipped NME.COM off about the split minutes ago (July 10). However, an official spokesperson would neither confirm nor deny the news, saying only that a statement would be made this evening.

The pair, Pete Devereuxand Mark Hill, have been in the vanguard of UK Garage's international surge. They sprang to fame initially as collaborators with Craig David but enjoyed success as a band in their own right with remix album 'Re-Rewind' and album proper 'It's All About The Stragglers'. They were tipped for success in the US.

A final mix album 'Lessons From The Underground' is due to be released within weeks.
