Ash make new single available for free

'I Started A Fire' won't cost you a penny

Ash make new single available for free

Ash have made their first material in three years available online as a free download.

’I Started A Fire’ is the first single from the band since losing guitarist Charlotte Hatherley and is available for free at myfreedownload.co.uk/ash.

The band decided to offer the single for free as “a thank you to our fanbase for waiting patiently for the new material”.

The album was recorded at the band’s own studio in New York, and is the first Ash album to be self-produced.

The band are currently on tour in the UK which drummer Mark Hamilton tells NME.COM has so far been “storming”, as they gear up for the release of their as-yet untitled fifth album which is set for release in July.

The band recently shot a video for the first single ‘proper’, ‘You Can’t Have It All’.
