Ash are set to release their new single ’You Can‘t Have It All’ on April 16.
It is their first new material since the ’Meltdown’ album in 2004, and follows the departure in early 2006 of guitarist Charlotte Hatherley.
The single is taken from their new album, the title of which has yet to be decided. It is the first time the band have released anything as a three-piece since 1997. the album is currently scheduled for a July release.
The new material was self-produced and recorded in New York.
The band are set to make an appearance at the Isle Of Wight Festival on June 9, and headline the Radio 1/NME Stage at the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds Festivals over the weekend of August 24-26.
