Ash performed covers of The Undertones ‘Teenage Kicks’ and 'Whiskey In The Jar', the irish traditional tune made famous by Thin Lizzy, last night (March 17) in New York.

The trio played an intimate show in honour of St. Patrick’s Day
at the Music Hall Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, making their way through a lengthy set comprising of a selection of material from their back catalogue as well as the yet-to-be-released in the US 'Twilight Of The Innocents', which Tim Wheeler said he hoped will come out on North America soon.

"We're just back from Japan and are totally jet-lagged and tripping," cheery frontman Wheeler told the crowd "but that seems appropriate for St. Patrick’s Day."

Acknowledging the vast Irish contingent in the crowd, Wheeler said "It's nice to be among our own today."

Returning for a five-song encore, he told the crowd
"We’re from a town called Downpatrick in Northern Ireland where Saint Patrick is buried," before playing 'Uncle Pat'.

Ash played:

'Lose Control'
'Orpheus'
'A Life Less Ordinary'
'Ritual'
'Shining Light'
'Kung Fu'
'Renegade Cavalcade'
'Vampire Love'
'Goldfinger'
'You Can't Have It All'
'Walking Barefoot'
'Evil Eye'
'Blacklisted'
'Oh Yeah'
'Girl From Mars'
'Twilight Of The Innocents'
'Meltdown'
'Uncle Pat'
'Whiskey In The Jar'
'Teenage Kicks'
'Burn Baby Burn'
