Athleteare to go on a UK tour to preview the release of their new album 'TOURIST'.

The seven-date tour takes place in early January, with the LP coming out on January 31.

The dates are as follows:

Cambridge Junction (January 10)
Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall (11)
Liverpool Academy (12)
Edinburgh Liquid Rooms (14)
Sheffield Leadmill (15)
Portsmouth Pyramid (16)
London Electric Ballroom (17)

The London band, whose 2003 debut 'Vehicles & Animals' was nominated for the Mercury Music Prize, precede the album's release with a single, 'Wires', on January 17.
