Audioslave pull Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals slot

The rockers axe entire Euro tour

Audioslave have pulled out of the Carling Weekend: Reading and Leeds festivals.

The US rockers were due to play at the Reading site on August 25, before moving to Leeds the following day. But the band have pulled their entire European tour scheduled for the summer.

However, Towers Of London have been added to the bill on the days Audioslave were due to play. Other additions include Aiden on the Saturday at Reading/ Sunday at Leeds and Killswitch Engage at Reading on Sunday/ Friday at Leeds.

As previously revealed on NME.COM, the main headliners for this year’s event are Franz Ferdinand, Muse , Pearl Jam, Primal Scream, The Raconteurs and Maximo Park.

Other bands appearing include Arctic Monkeys, The Streets, Kaiser Chiefs and The Futureheads.
