Avril Lavigne will appear as a character in a graphic novel.
The narrative of the book, called ’Make 5 Wishes’, follows Hana, an introverted teen who stumbles uon a website that will change her life forever. After a demon grants her a series of wishes that go bad, Hana meets Lavigne, who helps her find the courage to conquer her own personal demons.
Lavigne said: “I know that many of my fans read Manga, and I’m really excited to be involved in creating stories that I know they will enjoy.”
The book will be published by Del Ray Manga - one of the premier publishers of Manga in the US - on April 10, according to Around Comics.
As previously reported, Lavigne is to release her new album ’The Best Damn Thing’ on April 16.
