Canadian will make the lengthy trek in the spring

Avril Lavigne maps extensive North American tour

Avril Lavigne has announced a string of dates in the US and Canada, kicking off March 5 in Victoria.

The tour will support the release of her recently released ‘Best Damn Thing’ album, which entered the Billboard charts at number one in April and has already sold in excess of a million copies.

Boys Like Girls have been confirmed as the opening act on the outing.
