Azealia Banks has lashed out at Kreayshawn, calling the rapper a 'dumb bitch' who 'can't rap'.

The US rapper, who topped NME's Cool List 2011, took to Twitter to fling abuse at 'Gucci Gucci' artist Kreayshawn after she retweeted a link to Banks' video '212', but from a pornographic website. Banks wrote:

you think you're funny? You're a dumb bitch. And you can't rap. I'll sit on your face... Fall back slut.

Banks continued: "Lol. This is how bitches wanna start the new year? They want their mics ate this early? Omfg. Why fuck with me tho? What have I ever said about you or done to you for that matter? Ok. Ok. I'm done. This is silly."

A confused Kreayshawn then replied: "Huh? What did I do to you? I've been listening to your music all month. Strange. Stranger!" Then, according to reports, she deleted the tweet and replaced it with: "Did I just get smashed on twitter because I was supporting a fellow female? I sure did... *confused*"

To this, Banks responded: "whatever. Of All the things to rt, u rt something from pornhub. pick your fights more wisely. And when u do pick one don't switch it up once someone's at your neck… you're always tryna be cute and funny but your not built for it. Really your not."

Azealia Banks is currently working with UK producer Paul Epworth on new material and is due to play alongside Two Door Cinema Club, Metronomy and Tribes on the NME Awards Tour 2012, which takes place in February.

Meanwhile, pick up this week's new bands special issue of NME, which features an exclusive interview with Banks along with the 99 other artists you should be getting excited about this year. The issue is on UK newsstands and available digitally now.
