Azealia Banks to release new EP '1991' in April

'212' rapper also working on collabs with Kanye West and Lana Del Rey...

Azealia Banks has revealed that she will release a new EP titled '1991' in April.

Pitchfork reports that the release will feature two new tracks, titled '1991' and 'Grand Prix', and will be available from April 17. In addition to announcing her new EP, Banks took to Twitter to hint that she was working on a collaboration with Kanye West, and was also preparing a remix for 'Video Games' songstress Lana Del Rey.

Writing about West, she said: "!!!!!! Aaaaaaaahhhh!!!! LMFAOO I just got a Kanye west beat. I'm gassed!" She also said of a potential hook-up with Del Rey: "Up working on this Lana Del Rey remix... It's gonna b tight!"

The '212' rapper is set to release her debut album 'Broke With Expensive Taste' this September. Earlier this week (March 26), she debuted the new track 'Fuck Up The Fun', a collaboration with Diplo, online – scroll down to the bottom of the page and click to listen.

Azealia Banks is set to tour the UK in support of 'Broke With Expensive Taste' in September. She will play 11 shows on the run, which begin at Manchester's Club Academy on September and continue until October 12 when she headlines London's O2 Shepherds Bush Empire.
