*Update: Azealia Banks has subsequently released her own diss track aimed at Angel Haze. Scroll down to hear 'No Problems' now.

Azealia Banks has said that fellow rapper Angel Haze is 'jealous' of her prompting Haze to release a savage diss track titled 'On The Edge' aimed at Banks.

Banks made the remark on Twitter earlier today (January 3), after writing that rappers not from New York shouldn't try and 'claim' the city for their own.

"Seriously, if you were not born and raised in NY.... DON'T CLAIM NY. YOU ARE NOT A NEW YORKER," wrote Banks.

She then posted a Tweet which claimed Haze had threatened to 'cut' her because of her comments. She wrote:

She then added: "Whatever, angel haze was just waiting for an opportunity to express her Azealia Banks jealousy."

Haze responded via Twitter.com/AngelHaze, writing: "There's no jealousy....you know who's better. You've always known." She then posted a link to a tweet Banks wrote in May of last year, which said: "You know your the best out right now though! *hides mic behind back*".

Angel Haze then released the Azealia Banks diss track 'On The Edge', which you can hear below:

Azealia Banks also released a diss track, posting 'No Problem' on Soundcloud this afternoon (Jan 4). "Lol I def used that energy to write a fly new jam tho. It’s not even really a diss anymore! Haha !!!" tweeted Azealia, linking to the track you can hear below.

Angel Haze has come third in the BBC Sound of 2013 poll. She is also one of the final 10 shortlisted acts in the MTV Brand New for 2013 poll. The list of nominees includes Haim and Tom Odell. The overall winner will be revealed on February 1, 2013 after a public vote, which opens on January 14 via brandnew.mtv.co.uk.

Azealia Banks is set to release her debut album 'Broke With Expensive Taste' in February of this year.
