Babybird announce new album and comeback tour
Babybird have announced details of a UK tour to take place this November, along with provisional details of a new album.

The band, whose 1996 single 'You're Gorgeous' reached Number Three in the UK singles chart, play gigs in Manchester, Sheffield, Birmingham and London on the jaunt.

In a statement the band also revealed that they have recorded a new album in Los Angeles "with a friend of Johnny Depp", although there is currently no confirmed release date or title.

Babybird's last album was 2006's 'Between My Ears There's Nothing But Music', while mainman Stephen Jones also released solo material and scored films following the band's initial split after the release of 'Bugged' in 2000.
