Pete Doherty has been arrested in London.
The Babyshambles singer was arrested by police on Tuesday night (November 29) who stopped the car he was driving.
After a search, he was arrested on suspicion of possessing class A drugs. He was bailed, and is due to return to the police station later
this month.
A police spokesperson said: “Substances were recovered from the 26-year-old male driver and the vehicle. He was arrested for alleged possession of class A drugs. He was taken to a west London police station and later bailed to return pending further inquiries.”
Anyone convicted of possessing a class A drug could be jailed for up to seven years, or face an unlimited fine.
