New Libertines book to reveal the 'inside story'
NME writer documents the story of Pete and Carl
Photo Gallery: The Libertines
A new book that covers the history of The Libertines from Pete Doherty and Carl Barat's first meeting up to the Autumn of 2005 is to be published next year.
'The Libertines: Bound Together' by Anthony Thornton and Roger Sargent is published on February 23.
NME writer Thornton and Roger have spent the last three and a half years writing about and taking pictures of The Libertines.
The book contains over one hundred photographs, dozens of which are printed for the first time, as well as interviews with the band and key figures involved in the story.
