Singer fails to show in London

Pete Doherty has failed to show up to court for a review of his drug rehabilitation.

The lawyers of the Babyshambles singer blamed his non-appearance on touring commitments in Germany.

Thames Magistrates Court in London was told that he was performing in Berlin and Hamburg so could not show up in court as part of a 12-month community order.

The case has been adjourned until June when his community order will be reviewed again.
