Pete Doherty has described his forthcoming book of dairies and notebooks as “amazing nonsense”.

The star received a £150,000 publishing deal earlier this year for the collection, which will be titled ‘The Books Of Albion’.

And Doherty told NME what fans can expect when it does hit the shelves.

He said: “It’s amazing nonsense. The book’s very personal and very open. There’ll be stuff that people haven’t seen before.”

He added: “Very private thoughts, very private thoughts indeed. You’ll have to wait and see. Raise a toast to it.”

Also this week, there’s also all the news on the new Oasis album, The Long Blondes reveal all about their forthcoming debut LP and The Horrors discuss making the sickest video ever.

We also review the eagerly awaited new single by The Killers, as well as the new album by Sufjan Stevens.
