Pete Doherty is expected to appear in court today (August 18) after being charged with seven counts of drug possession.
Babyshambles’ leader was arrested yesterday and was held in custody ahead of his appearance at Thames Magistrate Court.
The charges related to three arrests - on April 20 and 29 and on August 7 – and concern three counts of cocaine possession, two for heroin possession and two for cannabis, BBC News reports.
As previously reported, Babyshambles missed a recent appearence at Ibiza Rocks after Doherty had trouble with his passport.
