Pete Doherty will stay at The Priory rehabilitation clinic in London until he is sentenced on drugs charges next month.

Sentencing for Doherty, who has pleaded guilty to seven counts of drug possession at Thames Magistrates’ Court (August 18), is due on September 4. He was bailed earlier today and as part of the conditions will stay in the clinic made famous for treating celebrities.

However, he may still face jail. District Judge Alison Rose told Doherty that her sentencing options "most definitely include the possibility of custody".

Doherty’s community order is also to be reviewed on September 4, according to Sky News.

The charges Doherty is facing relate to three arrests - on April 20, 29 and August 7 - and concern three counts of cocaine possession, two for heroin possession and two for cannabis.

As previously reported, Babyshambles missed a recent appearance at Ibiza Rocks after Doherty had trouble with his passport.
