Babyshambles frontman Pete Doherty has been charged with four driving offences.

The star was released on bail today (February 6) and is set to appear at the Thames Magistrates Court on February 13.

The charge stems from an incident on November 19 last year when police stopped Doherty for driving his Jaguar erratically near his home.

Doherty is charged with failing to produce driving documents and driving with no insurance.

He is also charged with driving with no MOT and failing to comply with driving licence conditions.

Two occupants of Doherty’s car were also arrested along with him.

Michelle Breeze was charged with two counts of possession of heroin, while Peter Wolfe was charged with cocaine possession. They were also bailed to appear at Thames Magistrates Court on February 13.

Last month Doherty attended a review of a drug treatment order at Thames Magistrates’ Court in East London.

District Judge Jane McIvor said Doherty was making “optimistic” progress in his battle against drug addiction, reports the BBC.
