Pete Doherty Sentenced: singer arrives in court
Babyshambles man arrives at West London Magistrates
Babyshambles Pete Doherty has just arrived in court this morning (August 7).
Doherty turned-up early, arriving at 9.30 am, half an hour before his 10am sentencing hearing.
The singer arrived in court in a people carrier, wearing a black trilby hat, white shirt and skinny black jeans.
He was accompanied by Babyshambles guitarist Mick Whitnall and was escorted through the scrum of photographers and TV cameras by three police officers.
He is appearing at West London Magistrates Court to be sentenced after pleading guilty to possessing class A drugs on July 3.
He admitted to possessing quantities of crack, heroin, cannabis and ketamine, and two driving offences after he was stopped by police in Kensington High Street, central London, on May 5.
The singer is also facing an additional charge of failing to appear in court without reasonable excuse after he turned up late to the initial hearing last month.
Doherty is now set to appear in Court 4 to learn his fate, .
