You tell NME.COM what you think of 'Delivery'

The new Babyshambles single 'Delivery' was aired for the first time on UK radio on Monday night (August 6).

Since then NME.COM users have been commenting in their droves giving their verdicts on the comeback release.

General opinion is that the song is a cracker, and by the sounds of it most of you will be buying it when it is released on September 16.

Here are a few of the thoughts you e-mailed in:

'Delivery' sounds great! It should definitely be Babyshambles’ first Number One single! I’ll be buying it, and I can’t wait for the album.”
SG, Manchester

'Delivery' is one of Doherty’s finest hours. It’s such a fast track, like ‘Killamangiro’ or ‘Time For Heroes’, but it’s more of a poetic song. It’s up there with ‘Albion’.”
Grant Shearer

'Delivery' is catchy, but nothing more. It’s certainly a step down from songs like ‘Albion' and 'Killamangiro'. Hopefully the new album will have some non-single classics on it like their debut did – songs like ‘32nd of December’ or ‘Merry Go Round’."
Christian Ritter

“It’s like The Kinks with an undertone of the Madness single ‘House Of Fun’. Dunno if that’s a good thing.”
Ken Brewster

“It’s a return to form, of sorts. While not nearly as polemical as anything The Libertines recorded, ‘Delivery’ is pure pop bliss.”
Parker Fishel

'Delivery' is great. It’s different to the ‘Down In Albion’ sound and I can see it being a hit with the rest of the ‘Shambles fans. It will be a great sing along when they play it live.”
Rob Hughes

“The only sound I hear is the rubbing of palms. It’s just ordinary. One is longing to be absolutely deaf.”
Dawn

'Delivery' is a wicked song! After wondering whether Pete could pull off another album I was truly surprised by it. It has a much more professional sound.”
